The wife and two children of Pope Francis's nephew have been killed in a car crash in Argentina, officials say. His nephew, Emanuel Bergoglio, was badly hurt in the accident in the Cordoba area, north-west of the capital, Buenos Aires.

Iceland volcano eruption risk level raised to orange for aviation | The Guardian

Iceland's meteorological office has raised its risk level to the aviation industry for an eruption at its Bardarbunga volcano to orange, which is the fourth level on a five-grade scale.
Ash from the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano in 2010 shut down much of Europe's airspace for six days, affecting more than 10 million people and costing $1.7 billion.

BBC News - Google removes 12 BBC News links in 'right to be forgotten'

Google has removed a total of 12 BBC News stories from some search results since controversial EU "right to be forgotten" laws came into force in May... Google notified the BBC of each of the removals, but it did not disclose who had made the removal requests.

Gastropub's social media accounts hijacked by angry ex-worker - Telegraph

Pub bosses were left red faced after an angry former employee who claimed not to have been paid hijacked their social media sites and posted a series of abusive messages.
The ex-worker logged into the Twitter and Facebook accounts of House of Wolf, and warned customers not to visit the popular north London gastropub.
