The Republic of Ireland has voted overwhelmingly to legalise same-sex marriage in a historic referendum.
More than 62% voted in favour of amending the country's constitution to allow gay and lesbian couples to marry.

The Labour party has performed a striking u-turn and dropped its opposition to a referendum on EU membership.
Under Ed Miliband’s leadership, the party had strongly rejected the proposal. But it has now said it will support David Cameron’s planned referendum bill to enable the vote that has been promised before the end of 2017.

From the start of this month the online retailer has started booking its sales through the UK, meaning resulting profits will be taxed by HMRC. The group made $8.3bn (￡5.3bn) of worldwide sales from British online shoppers but for 11 years all these internet transactions have been booked in Luxembourg.

“Pitch Perfect 2″ will cross the $100 million mark at the U.S. box office on Saturday.
This is yet another high note for the Universal comedy as it looks likely to edge out big-budget tentpole “Tomorrowland” at the Memorial Day weekend box office, with just north of $41 million. The “Pitch Perfect” sequel has an estimated $29 million pricetag, while Diseny’s “Tomorrowland” reportedly cost $180 million to produce.
“Pitch Perfect 2″ will surpass $125 million by the end of the four-day weekend.
