SoftBank Group Corp. said Tuesday that President Nikesh Arora will step down at a shareholders meeting on Wednesday.
Arora, who had been picked as a successor to Masayoshi Son, chief executive officer of the Internet and telecom giant, was unable to agree when he would take over the leadership, the company said. Arora will remain as an adviser for the group.
