MP Jo Cox tried to protect her staff in her dying moments shouting: “Let him hurt me. Don’t let him hurt you” as she was attacked, a court heard.

The Russian Supreme Court has overturned a criminal conviction against opposition figure and anti-corruption activist Alexei Navalny and sent the case back to the lower court for retrial.

Egypt's Court of Cassation on Tuesday overturned a death sentence against deposed president Mohammed Mursi of the Muslim Brotherhood and ordered a retrial.
Mursi was sentenced to death in June 2015 in connection with a mass jail break during Egypt's 2011 uprising.
In the first season of a record £5.316bn TV deal, 33 per cent of ticket prices have been reduced in 2016-17, with 53 per cent frozen at previous levels.
The average cost of the most expensive away ticket is now £29.44, a reduction of 37 per cent from £46.44.
