Hewlett-Packard Set to Break Up 75-Year-Old Company - WSJ

H-P, which Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard famously started in their Palo Alto, Calif., garage in 1939, now will be carved up: One part, HP Inc., will consist of the company’s personal-computer and printer businesses. The other, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, will sell computer servers, data-storage gear, software, consulting operations and other services for corporate-technology departments.
Each of the companies will be about the same size, with more than $50 billion in annual revenue.

The New York Times newspaper has apologised for a cartoon on India's Mars Mission following readers' complaints that it mocked India.
The cartoon showed a farmer with a cow knocking at the door of a room marked Elite Space Club where two men sit reading a newspaper on India's feat.
The cartoon was carried with an article titled India’s Budget Mission to Mars.

Cannabis as addictive as heroin, major new study finds - Telegraph

Cannabis can be as addictive as heroin or alcohol, causes mental health problems and can lead to hard drug use, according to a major new study led by a leading British expert on addiction.
The research, conducted over 20 years by Professor Wayne Hall, an adviser to the World Health Organisation, links use of cannabis to a wide range of harmful side-effects, from mental illness to lower academic attainment to impaired driving ability.
