SONY IS WORKING on bringing PlayStation 2 titles to the PlayStation 4, the company confirmed to WIRED Thursday evening.
“We are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation,” a Sony representative told WIRED via email. “We have nothing further to comment at this point in time.”

A century ago a ship sank beneath the ice of the Weddell Sea off Antarctica. Sir Ernest Shackleton had been counting on Endurance to help him make it ashore, ahead of a trek across the continent past the South Pole.
Now, newly digitised images capturing the last days of Endurance, and the crew's subsequent struggle to stay alive, are on show at the Royal Geographical Society in London.
A Glaucus atlanticus washed ashore in Queensland, Australia recently and the video has gone viral. The "Blue Dragon" is a sight to behold - breathtakingly blue, comically cartoonish and one bad ass nudibranch.
