Hong Kong protesters occupy legislative chamber after smashing windows, vandalising corridors | Hong Kong Free Press

Hong Kong anti-government protesters have stormed the city’s legislature after breaking glass doors and prising open gates at the rear.
A group of demonstrators had been ramming doors and windows around the complex since Monday afternoon, despite warnings from police in riot gear that they may face arrest... Protesters inside the legislature spray painted the walls with graffiti, reading “[Chief Executive] Carrie Lam step down,” “the government forced us to revolt” and “Oppose Chinese colonialism,” among other slogans.

BMW: Diesels to survive at least 20 more years, gasoline engines 30

Despite being at the forefront of electrification, BMW will continue to invest heavily in internal combustion engines for the foreseeable future.
“A best assumption of 30 percent of electrified sales (battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids) by 2025 means that at least 80 percent of our vehicles will have an internal combustion engine,” Klaus Froelich, BMW Group board member for development, said on the sidelines of the company's NextGen event in Munich this week.
BMW expects diesels to survive for at least 20 more years and gasoline engines for at least 30 years, Froelich said.

A man whose body was found in the garden of a house in London is believed to have been a stowaway who fell from a plane as it approached Heathrow airport.
Police in the capital say they were called to a house in Clapham, south London, shortly after 3:30pm, on Sunday afternoon after a body was found in the garden... A bag, water and some food were discovered in the landing gear compartment of a Kenya Airways flight which landed at the airport around the same time.

Female players will no longer be referred to as Ms, Miss or Mrs as Wimbledon 'moves with the times'

Female tennis players at Wimbledon will no longer be referred to by “Miss” or “Mrs” as the All England Lawn Tennis Club says it has to "move with the times".
Ending a long held tradition, umpires will no longer use the single or marital prefix when they declare that a woman has won a game, set or match to “achieve consistency” between the sexes, the Club said on Monday.
