Toyota worker’s suicide ruled work-related after harassment

An engineer at Toyota killed himself after being constantly ridiculed by his boss, authorities have ruled.
Toyota Motor Corp. acknowledged the case after reports of the ruling emerged Tuesday. The company said it hopes to prevent further such cases and expressed condolences over the death.
The case came amid growing awareness of problems with what the Japanese call “power harassment.”

De-clutter guru Marie Kondo opens online store - BBC News

Japanese tidying guru Marie Kondo, who made her name preaching against clutter, is launching an online store selling homeware and fashion.
The author and media star has added a collection of more than 100 items that "spark joy" to her KonMari website.
The range includes, among other things, an $86 (£66.3) scented candle and a $42 (£32.4) flower bouquet tote bag.

French court confirms sentence for Picasso's electrician over hoarded art | AFP.com

A French court on Tuesday confirmed the two-year suspended jail terms given to Pablo Picasso's former electrician and his wife, who hoarded 271 of the great painter's works in a garage for four decades.
The verdict by the Lyon court is the latest twist in a decade-long legal saga, which took the couple, who claim the works were a gift, all the way to France's top appeals court.
