WTO warns of rising trade barriers ahead of G20 summit | Financial Times

New trade barriers imposed by G20 economies threaten to crimp the global economy, the World Trade Organization said in a report published on Monday.
G20 nations implemented 20 new trade-restrictive measures between mid-October and mid-May, including higher tariffs, import bans and new customs procedures for exports. Those measures affect goods worth $335.9bn, the second-highest figure recorded since the WTO began tracking it in May 2012.

Shareholders of embattled Nissan Motor Co. on Tuesday voiced concerns over the fraught relationship with alliance partner Renault SA, while they gave a green light to install a new governance structure to ensure oversight following the arrest of former Chairman Carlos Ghosn.
During a more than three-hour annual shareholders meeting in Yokohama, a number of individual stakeholders expressed distrust toward Renault, as the two automakers have clashed over differences on a proposed merger and Renault’s recent attempt to tie up with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV.

Raspberry Pi 4 boosts performance, keeps $35 starting price - CNET

The new computer retains its $35 starting price for the 1GB board (a 2GB board is $45, 4GB is $55), with casing available for an additional $5. A USB-C power supply is available for $8, while those upgrading from an older Pi can buy a $1 micro-USB to USB-C adapter.

Talent agency suspends 11 comedians for 'underground business'

A major Japanese talent agency suspended on Monday 11 of its comedians for conducting "underground business" and attending a party hosted by a purported organized crime group without consulting with the company.
Yoshimoto Kogyo Co. said it has determined that the comedians, including Hiroyuki Miyasako, 49, and Ryo Tamura, 47, accepted money for their attendance.
