India will not join RCEP agreement, Modi says deal does not address our concerns

India has decided to not join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement over India's concerns not being addressed in the deal.
According to sources in the government, India has decided not to join RCEP and PM Narendra Modi has stood firm on the issue that India's concerns were not addressed in the agreement. Sources said the RCEP agreement with China and Asean countries does not reflect "its original intent" and the outcome is "not fair or balanced".

Saudi Aramco: Saudi Arabia announces IPO for state oil giant - CNN

Saudi Arabia is moving forward with an initial public offering of its huge state oil producer that could shatter records and give investors the chance to own a piece of the world's most profitable company.
Following approval from the country's regulators, Saudi Aramco on Sunday formally announced its intention to float shares on the Tadawul exchange in Riyadh. Aramco executives will now embark on an international roadshow to court investors, and a prospectus outlining the company's financial details is expected later this month.

Japanese man arrested in Australia for alleged child porn possession | The Japan Times

A 30-year-old Japanese tourist has been arrested and charged with attempting to import child porn material into Australia, border officials said.
During a search of the man’s mobile phone upon his arrival in the city of Perth from Tokyo on Saturday, officials discovered more than 200 video files and images that are alleged to depict “the sexual abuse or exploitation of children,” Australian Border Force said Monday in a statement.
An additional 300 videos were found on his phone and will be examined in the coming weeks, the officials said.

Greek police have found 41 people alive in a refrigerated truck in a discovery that has underscored the extraordinary risk migrants are prepared to take to get into Europe.
At least a third were found to have trouble breathing, and seven were rushed to a nearby hospital with respiratory problems.
The vehicle’s refrigeration system had broken down by the time the truck was stopped at a motorway toll station outside the city of Xanthi in north-east Greece and its passengers, of apparent Afghan origin, were discovered.

Niagara Falls: Boat stuck on rocks 101 years dislodged - CNN

A boat stuck on rocks above Niagara Falls for more than a century has been unmoored by high wind and heavy rains.
Thursday's harsh weather pushed the vessel away from its rocky perch and closer to the falls on the Canadian side, according to the Niagara Parks Commission.
It's the first time it's moved any appreciable distance for more than a century, according to CNN affiliate CBC.
