イランの最高指導者・ハメネイ師は「アメリカとヨーロッパ数カ国も決して信頼すべきでない」と述べ、ロウハニ大統領が目指す核合意の枠組み維持に否定的な考えを示しました。……崩壊の瀬戸際にある2015年の核合意を維持したい国際協調派のロウハニ大統領はアメリカの経済制裁が続くなか、ヨーロッパ諸国に支援策を提示するよう求めています。一方、ハメネイ師の今回の発言はロウハニ政権の方針を厳しく批判したもので、核合意の離脱も辞さない強硬な姿勢を打ち出しています。

欧州航空機大手エアバス（Airbus）に対するサイバー攻撃が相次いでいると、治安筋がAFPに明らかにした。ハッカーらは技術上の機密情報を狙ってエアバスのサプライヤー（供給企業）を標的としており、中国の関与が疑われるという。
捜査に関わっている複数の治安筋によると、エアバスは過去12か月の間に4回、大規模なサイバー攻撃を受けたという。

The revelation is made in an upcoming PBS documentary set to air next week, a day before the one-year anniversary of Khashoggi's death.
"It happened under my watch," the crown prince, commonly referred to by his initials MBS, said to PBS Frontline journalist Martin Smith. "I get all the responsibility because it happened under my watch."... ▽IAEA: Iran Expands Enrichment In New Breach Of Nuclear Deal
Iran has started using advanced centrifuges to enrich uranium, the UN's nuclear watchdog says, in a further breach of its 2015 nuclear deal with world powers.
Advanced centrifuges "were accumulating, or had been prepared to accumulate, enriched uranium," the Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in the report to member states cited by Western news agencies on September 26.
In addition, IAEA inspectors have verified that Iran has pushed ahead with preparations to install more advanced centrifuges that can refine uranium more efficiently.

“Just slowed down to six miles of battery on the Tesla, so I may lose it here in a sec,” the officer said, according to police radio transmissions.

The Australian Capital Territory Legislative Assembly voted on Wednesday to legalize possession by adults of up to 50 grams (1.8 ounces) of dried marijuana and cultivation of two marijuana plants beginning Jan. 31.
The assembly is the local government of Canberra, the national capital with a population of 400,000.
The law requires that adults not use marijuana near children and to store it out of their reach. Owners cannot sell or supply their marijuana to anyone else. Households are limited to growing no more than four plants, regardless of the number of occupants.

Within hours, a separate decision by Stuttgart prosecutors fined Daimler 870 million euros ($957 million) in a probe into their diesel cars. While the decision closes this case, the Mercedes-Benz maker still faces lawsuits in the U.S.
▽'Right to be forgotten' by Google doesn't apply worldwide, Europe's top court rules - CNET
Google scored a win on Tuesday when Europe's top court agreed with the search giant that it's not required to apply the same privacy standards worldwide as it does in the EU. According to the landmark ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union, Google is not required to extend the "right to be forgotten" to versions of its search engine outside of Europe.
The right, which allows people to demand Google remove or delist links to information about themselves not in the public interest, was introduced in 2014 to protect people's privacy. Google complied with the decision made in Europe to remove links when requested, but only from European iterations of search. This means while a link might not show up in a Google UK search, it would still appear in the US version of Google.
But France's data protection watchdog wanted Google to apply the removal of links globally in order to ensure privacy protection under European law. France hit Google with a 100,000 euro ($110,000) fine, which the company appealed at Europe's highest court. It was this decision that the court overturned on Tuesday.

Indonesian investigators have determined that design and oversight lapses played a central role in the fatal crash of a Boeing 737 MAX jet in October, according to people familiar with the matter, in what is expected to be the first formal government finding of fault.
The draft conclusions, these people said, also identify a string of pilot errors and maintenance mistakes as causal factors in the fatal plunge of the Boeing Co. plane into the Java Sea, echoing a preliminary report from Indonesia last year.
Shocking scans show how smoking e-cigarettes left a 19-year-old's lungs filled with solidified vape oil and rendered him unable to breathe on his own.
Anthony Mayo, 19, of Erie, Pennsylvania, became seriously ill last week. He struggled to breathe, looked pale and felt sick, his parents say.
Doctors found his lungs were severely congested with the solidified vape oil, which they compared to hardened grease from cooking bacon.
It had caused Anthony, who has vaped for around two years, to have 'the lungs of a 60-year-old, two-pack-a-day, smoker'.

South Korean police have identified a suspect in one of the country’s most notorious serial murder cases more than 30 years after the first of the killings, they said Thursday.
Between 1986 and 1991, 10 women between the ages of 13 and 71 were found slain in Hwasong, a city just south of Seoul.
All had been raped and all were found bound by their own stockings and clothing at sites within a radius of 3 kilometers (1.9 miles).
